I recently buy a hammer drill from Parkside (PBH 1500 F6) and I wanted to find carbon brushes replacement directly to be sure to keep the hammer drill for a long time. The user manual tell us to send the hammer drill to a professional service repair if we want to replace the carbon brushes and do not give the reference these carbon brushes.
Then, I have removed the cover on the back of the motor and take the measurements of a carbon brush before using the hammer drill to be sure to have the correct measurement (without wear).
The dimensions (LxWxH) are 17 mm x 8 mm x 7 mm or 0.67″ x 0.31″ x 0.27″. It corresponds to the carbon brushes used in multiple BOSH device like the GBH 36V-Li, the 36VF-Li and the SDS Drill 11536).
The bosh part comes without spring like the Parkside. Now you have the reference, you can find the part easily on Ebay by taping “Bosch 1617014131”.
It is a pity and shame that Lidl cannot provide better product info! It took me days to figure out
which carbon brushes do I need.
Thank you for this information.
They provide this in the user manual “You need to contact the service repair to change the carbon brushes”. Now, each time I buy a Parkside product, I take the time to measure the brushes before using the machine to be able to order these when they are used (I write these on the blank page at the end of the user manual). But even with the size of the brushes it is not always simple to find them.
Yes Maximilien, in the manual is stated that you need to contact the service center to get the
repair. I understand that this is safer for both customers and service centers. But I also think if
the information on carbon brushes model is stated in the manual then it will raise the quality of
Parkside goods.
And one more comment on the brushes: I bought “Bosch 1617014131”- brushes fits well into
the holder but the Bosch copper wire is attached to the carbon on a different side as the
original brushes. It means that the copperwire can be mangled into its holder by a spring, later
on. I estimate that is more a cosmetic bug than functional. I look forward to a smooth run time
with the new brushes 🙂
Does these brushes fit Pbh 1500 A1? It suddenly stopped working. When i looked at the
brushes, the copper wires have a small colorful discoloration at the point where they connect
with the brushes.
I don’t know, you can check the measurement and if it matches order Bosch brushes. 🙂 The problem could also come from the drill trigger.
Hello Maximilien,
I have the same PBH 1500 tool but I noticed Bosch 1617014131 brushes are not really
compatible with it. The cooper wire on Bosch has 90 deg offset and cannot be fitted on the
holder.
Here is the link to the brushes PBH1500 A1:

Thanks a lot of, this is a very fine information with the BOSCH – Carbon brushes!!!
Cool. Thanks.
Unfortunately my brushes on Parkside PBH 1500 A1 (2014-12) 108020 have a cross-section 11x7mm!
